Work in property services may involve the; buying and selling of property, arrangement of finances for people buying property, development, valuation, rental and management of property and maintenance and upkeep of property.
- Caretaker
- Caretakers keep places, such as schools, apartment blocks and public buildings, clean, safe and in good order. They may also look after the surrounding grounds.
- Licensed Auctioneer
- Licensed auctioneers take charge of public or private auctions. They sell goods, property or livestock on behalf of the owner (or vendor) to people offering the highest price.
- Mortgage Broker
- Mortgage brokers offer free advice to people wanting to buy a house or property. This involves finding the mortgage options best suited to the client, and arranging finance on the client's behalf.
- Property Developer
- Property developers plan or carry out the purchase, development and sale of new or existing properties or land.
- Property Manager
- Property managers look after the daily running of commercial, residential, retail and industrial properties.
- Property Valuer
- Property valuers assess the value of land and buildings for such purposes as sale, purchase, renting, mortgage finance, insurance or rates.
- Real Estate Salesperson
- Real estate salespeople arrange the sale of properties and help buyers find suitable properties.
