Ticket Seller Cashier
Tasks & duties

Ticket seller cashiers may do some or all of the following:

collect and set up the cash float
-
receive ticket requests from customers
-
give customers information about events or attractions
-
prepare booking plans and tickets
-
issue tickets and collect payments
-
record tickets sold and cash received
-
record and process phone, Internet and mail bookings
-
answer customers' questions in person and over the phone
-
balance the float at the end of the day
-
usher people to their seats

an understanding of ticketing and sales techniques

knowledge of the events, venues, and services they are selling tickets for
