- Animal Attendant
- Animal attendants care for animals in zoos, kennels, catteries, research or animal care centres.
- Animal Behaviour Consultant
- Animal behaviour consultants diagnose and treat behaviour problems in pets and other animals.
- Animal Control Officer
- Animal control officers enforce laws and regulations that deal with animals and their owners. They ensure that people control their animals so they do not create problems for others.
- Animal Physiologist
- Animal physiologists carry out research on how human or animal bodies work. They study the blood, breathing, circulation, digestion, excretion, hormone and skeletal muscle systems, body organs, and brain.
- Artificial Breeding Technician
- Artificial breeding technicians artificially inseminate livestock.
- Horse Trainer
- Horse trainers train horses for racing, and are responsible for their care at a stable or race track.
- Ranger
- Rangers supervise, maintain, enhance and protect conservation areas such as forests, coasts, wetlands, national parks, maritime parks, regional parks, reserves, and sites of historical or cultural importance.
- Stud Groom/Stable Groom
- Stud grooms/stable grooms exercise, feed and care for horses at a stable, and keep the stable and the stable yard clean.
- Veterinarian
- Veterinarians treat sick and injured animals, provide general animal care, and advise clients about health care and disease prevention for pets and farm (production) animals. They also set standards for the import and export of animals and animal products and work in other related areas.
- Veterinary Nurse
- Veterinary nurses help in the examination, treatment and rehabilitation of sick and injured animals. They also interact with clients and perform receptionist duties.
- Zoo Manager
- Zoo managers oversee the running of a zoo, reserve or aquarium, which can include staff management, budget control and the development of conservation programmes.
- Zoologist
- Zoologists study animals and all aspects of their lives, including their habitats, habits and anatomy.
